
Patrick Lavoie
COMPOSERPatrick Lavoie is a composer and multi-instrumentalist from Lac St Jean, specialising in music for film and TV Series’. He recently composed the music for “L’Homme qui aimait trop” (streaming on Noovo & Crave). Patrick’s also provided soundtracks for the tele-series’ “C’est comme ça que je t’aime” (2 seasons), “Demain des Hommes” (Radio-Canada), “Blue Moon”(TVA- 3 seasons) and “Feux “(by Serge Boucher). The latter won Best drama series at the 2017 Gémeaux awards. Recently, Patrick co-wrote the original music for “Clash” (Crave) and for “Toute la Vie” (Radio-Canada) with Martin Granger. In January 2015, his soundtrack for the Martin Talbot film Henri Henri (2014), was nominated for Best Original Score at the Canadian Screen Awards, and since then, 4 Gémeaux award nominations for “Blue Moon” and “C’est comme ça que je t’aime” We can also hear Patrick playing his own compositions in Feature films such as Tout est parfait (Yves-Christian Fournier, 2008) and Noir(Yves-Christian Fournier, 2015). Aside from this, Patrick has composed and interpreted music for short films such as Le Poids du vide, Sale Gueule and Cité entre les murs (Alain Fournier) as well as dozens of TV commercials. Many of his soundtracks are available for download on all major platforms including iTunes and Bandcamp.
